Corporate Branding on Clothes
If you want your business to be known by a large group of people, corporate branding is a must. There isn't a company, business or multinational brand out there that doesn't compete with their opponents, in terms of what products to sell their brand name through.
Whether its Victoria’s Secret underwear, National Geographic pen drives or Red Bull mugs and T-shirts, companies are starting to imprint their brand name on just about anything that they can lay their hands on, to make their brand and their products stand out from the rest and attract as many customers as possible. At Brown Cow Productions & events we can help you with your branding needs, by getting your logo printed on anything you wish, be it clothing, mugs or any other article.
Why brand clothing?
For years, clothing has been the primary and preferred product onto which companies have been imprinting their brand names and logos. Famous sports brands have their brand name/logo printed on gym wear, casual wear and sportswear.
Some of our favorite shows on TV channels like Discovery, Travel and Living and National Geographic have all come out with their own line of T-shirts, for both men and women, with their logos and attractive pictures imprinted on them. So, we can see that corporate branding of clothing has taken the world by storm.

Screen printing is one such method of branding clothing. It is recommended for printing in high resolutions on fabric where the text desired is not smaller than 3 millimeters in height. Using a positive and light exposure unit, the logo exposed screen is created, after which ink is pushed through the exposed screen using a squeegee. Curing follows and you have yourself a perfectly printed piece of clothing with your brand name or logo ready to sell!

Branding Options Available
We use the heat transfer branding process for promotional gifts and clothing where the logo is too detailed for the screen printing option. With the print method we can get exceptional detail. An image is printed on a special vinyl surface. The surface is placed onto the promotional product and the product is then placed in the heat press where the heat melts the adhesive backing on the vinyl to ensure that the image can be merged with the fabric.
With this branding option you need to note that the flexibility of the printed product will be affected since we don’t cut the logo out. We offer white vinyl for the process to ensure that CMYK printing can be done. Note that the flexibility of the printed product will be affected. We cannot print metallic colours through this method.
Digital Transfer Printing
With digital transfers we can print full colour digital prints onto various promotional products not previously possible. We use a digital print, which is printed onto a special transfer paper.
The product to be branded is first treated with a special chemical and the logo or image is then transferred onto the product. Once done, the product is treated through chemical sealing to make the print permanent.
With this option, we cannot print white and therefore recommend the branding option for white coloured promotional gifts such as mugs or metal type items. When it comes to metal objects the logo will have a metallic tinge. It’s certainly a stylish way of branding.
With the sublimation method, we can print colourful logos because we use a digital print method. The logo is placed onto the product through heat application that transfers the ink from the paper onto the product. The flexibility of the product is not affected. White is the one colour that cannot be printed and we thus don’t recommend the printing method for coloured items.
If your client has white or natural colour products to be branded in detail then this method can be recommended.
We recommend the method for high-volume branding of plastic and novelty promotional gifts. A positive & light exposure unit is used to create the logo-etched plate.
The ink from the ink-well, in which the plate is placed, is then transferred to the product to be printed and then cured through a heat process. It’s best suited for print work where the text is not smaller than a millimeter in height.
We recommend the branding option for printing in high volume on fabric where you don’t need text less than three millimetres in height. We use a positive & light exposure unit to create the logo exposed screen. Ink is pushed through the screen on the logo exposed area with the use of a squeegee. Curing follows and the print is done.
With this method we can print logos onto folders, notebooks, and binders. The logo is pressed onto the product through the usage of heat pressure. It’s best suited for leather, and rigid cardboard notebooks.
We furthermore offer you branding methods for promotional gifts and clothing such as embroidery, laser engraving, and digital printing as well as domed stickers.
Also vehicle branding, store window decals, wall decals, whiteboard stickers directly attached to your walls, contra-vision, wallpaper, frosting and much more.
Please bear in mind that all branding has set up fees which apply whether you brand 1 or 100 items. Branding costs therefore vary substantially depending on the quantity you want to do. Please always let us know quantity and where applicable the number of colours you want to print so that we can come up with the best solution for you.
